There are plenty of burning programs in linux. Look into a program called gcombust. But in a pinch, just go to rpm-find in yer browser and search, you'll get an arseload of hits...

The biggest pain in Linux CD-burning is probably the fact that your burner is most likely IDE and your machine will have to immitate the SCSI command set. All of the GUI front-ends use the low level command line program cdrecord. In RH7.2, which I installed recently just so I could answer these kinds of questions, you will have to insmod 3 modules. ide-scsi, sg, and scsi_mod. I may have those names a little wrong, and you may have to juggle the order as they depend on one another, but they are part of the burning how-to. Also, I'm a big fan of xcdroast as opposed to gcombust, but heck... try 'em both! www.xcdroast.org, 1 RPM. I got it working last night in about 20 minutes.

Cheers,

Finegan

Eroaster is another one, search http://rpmfind.net for eroaster, I like it very much.
