Bumblebee not loading Nvidia card.

Hello all, the nvidia card does not seem to be working when using optirun. When running optirun glxgears -info and then checking which card is rendering, it states the intel card is running although these are the first lines of output:
GL_RENDERER = Quadro K2100M/PCIe/SSE2
GL_VERSION = 4.5.0 NVIDIA 349.16
GL_VENDOR = NVIDIA Corporation

The nvidia 349 driver is installed as the 352 driver won't load. I have blacklisted nouveau.

The distro is Linux Mint 17.2

Thanks
