Building Embbeded Samba
 

Hi

I am working on an building an Embedded system application with Samba support. I have my embedded Linux compiled with loadable Module support and its rootFs built suitably for my application. I am working on bringing Samba as part of this rootFs so that my embedded application when comes up shall have the samba server running on it and I can be able to run clients from Windows system and do file sharing.
I have done enough of browsing to determine how to include samba on RootFS but could not get real worthy. Can anyone suggest me on how this could be achieved. What are the steps needed to bring Samba as part of the RootFS and make it run.
