buffer i/o error

Hi people!,

I am quite new to linux.

I recently installed/setup a dell poweredge server with md3000, and 2 md1000 storage vaults recently running Red Hat enterprise linux 5.1.

The storage vaults have 45 drives of 400 GB each(SAS).
And has been configured giving 14 virtual disks.

The problem is with the Red Hat linux.
Whenever i boot up the server it gives me the following errors:

buffer i/o error on device sdc, logical block 0
buffer i/o error on device sdc, logical block 1
buffer i/o error on device sdc, logical block 2

..and this goes on for the next 13 devices.
Apparently Linux is unable to read/write to any of the 14 virtual disks.

How can possibly solve this problem?

Thanks in advance.

Probably you need to load a driver (module) for the SCSI card.
