[SOLVED] BT Voyager 1040 won't work with Ubuntu

Hi all, clueless newbie here!

My laptop and one of my desktops worked "out of the box" with Ubuntu, wirelessly, but my other desktop refuses to play ball when it comes to wireless.

The adaptor is a BT Voyager 1040 (PCI) and I have the "bcmwl5.inf" and "sys" files but none of the procedures I've tried have worked.

I'm totally clueless when it comes to using Linux commands in a terminal window, could some kind soul post an idiot's guide please?

I've already got ndiswrapper and I've installed the "Windows Drivers" utility.

Many thanks.

:D
