bsnl bridged internet connection wth username and password in kubuntu


How to set up a bsnl bridged internet connection wth username and password in kubuntu 10.10 ? i tries pppoeconfig but it didnt give me any solution.

To Kaushik,
Welcome to LQ! Do you have a dial-up or a DSL connection?System > Preferences >Network Connections > select your connection type. I have a DSL BSNL Broadband AND it is as simple as 1>2>3>Apply! Please view the screenshots below. Just click on each of the snaps and they will open "enlarged" in a seperate window.Best wishes!

Thanks a lot !! This was really easy .!! also i found out another way.. type "sudo pppoeconf" and if i follow the onscreen instructions then an internet connection is established !

the screenshots you have uploaded is in ubuntu OS and not kubuntu
i too have ubuntu but i am faceing problems in kubuntu
kubuntu sucks and is not user friendly at all !
