I went back and deleted my printer. I had already installed all of the drivers from the Brothers web site. I then started over and reinstalled the printer, and on the page where it asked if you want to print a test page I clicked on it and it printed. I really don't know what I did different, because I went thru the same steps that I had done several times before. A glitz? Maybe, or just dumb luck.
I do want to thank everyone that tried to help me and gave suggestions. Everyone have a great day.

GARYIS2ME,

Forums work best when a person who determines a fix to a problem
also posts what the solution was.
