Broadcom Wireless card not working in Natty, says driver is functioning properly
I installed Ubuntu 11.04 today alongside Linux Mint 10. In Mint, the Additional Drivers dialog shows itself and offers to install proprietary drivers, and when I'm through confirming it, I can connect to my WiFI connection no problem. However, in Ubuntu, the dialog showed up just as it did in Mint and says that the driver is installed and enabled. But when I check the available networks menu, my connection doesn't appear on the list.
I have checked, and this is not an issue with my wireless setup. I'm using an Dell Inspiron 1420 laptop.
