Broadband connection (Bell Sympatico)

I have installed Red Hat 9 version 2.4.20-8 and i think it is necessary to download files or
a module to be able to connect to the internet Sympatico ADSL broadband...(but i am not sure). Problem is i cannot get files that Sympatico offer (on their site) with a Linux OS because of the firewall of my college...Can i download these files from a WindowsXP OS and then transfer to LInux ? Since Windows is NTFS and Linux is ext3 file type i wonder...

Thank you, MMMarc

If your modem has an ethernet connection then no additional software is required. Use the network connection wizard and setup xdsl.
