ive had redhat on my system for a while, i used to have dialup but that didnt work so i just left it alone for a while. Just recently my family got broadband, dsl to be exact. i was wondering if any of you wonderfuly smart people out there could tell me how to set it up so i can surf the net...i am to tired of those damn blue screens of death...

This depends a lot on the type of modem, and whether you connect to it directly, or if the fam is splitting the connection all throughout the house with one of the router-in-a-box deali-whos that made Linksys a household name.

If you don't have a dummy-router like that, what's the modem connection? USB or ethernet?
