Brasero copying problems

I am running XUbuntu 8.04 and want to copy a series of DVDs using Brasero, but when I click Disc Copy it starts for about half a second then this error message appears:

Error while burning:
impossible to find a format for the temporary image.

Any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks.

I've only tried to use Brasero to burn an iso. Never got it to work, and gave up. Went back to gnome-baker which Ubuntu used to ship. You'll find it in "Add/Remove Applications" if you select "Show: All available applications".
