borlandc
is there any way to run borlandc in linux...and then the programs?
|
I'd be very surprised if you could. Why not use gcc?
|
Probably using wine. The executables will only run in wine too.

The problem is that borland c is old even for windows, to the point where it's non-standard c (ie, it's older than the current standard). Unless we're talking about c++ builder.

Version 3.0 works in dosbox. Windows-based versions obviously need Windows, but it can be inside QEMU or VMware. Wine may work, but I wouldn't count on it.

I'm doing some examples from a book that was written in borlandc(or for windows, it uses conio.h & dos.h), after I learn all that stuff I will use gcc(and ncurses).
thx I will try with wine. thx again |
