bootsplash: unsupported bitmap; boot-bmp.b doesnt exist,
 
Hi, I am trying to put an image at the lilo, it very cool: http://kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=11098
But i cant make it go,
I edit the lilo.conf but when i write lilo,
this happen:
[root@localhost boot]# lilo
Fatal: Unsupported bitmap
What should i do? i didn't find in /boot the boot-bmp.b file,
where can i download it?
Any tips?

Ok, i figured this thing up: In Mandrake, first edit the image in The GIMP:
click right button of the mouse on the image, --> Image --> Mode --> Indexed, change the # of colors to 16, and finally save it with RLE encoded,
Then edit lilo.conf:
place a "#" symbol before the message=/boot/message
and change the bmp-colors and bmp-timer, to this: bmp-colors=6,9,0,15,9,0 and
bmp-timer=66,29,6,8,0
and thatīs it, this help was in the page i wrote search in changing the date of the postings
