Bootloader Problem With Suse 9.2 and winxp

Hello there, as you can see i have a problem with the dual boot. so what should i add to the Image/Device tab (at yast bootloader configuration) to boot windows? I have done that once with suse 9.1 but i forgot what i did. lol sorry for being a total n00b. Here is something that might be helpful:

Disk /dev/hda: 120.0 GB, 120034123776 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 14593 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes

Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/hda1 2 1305 10474380 f W95 Ext'd (LBA)
/dev/hda2 1306 5221 31455270 83 Linux
/dev/hda3 5222 14592 75272526 c W95 FAT32 (LBA)
/dev/hda5 2 1305 10474348+ 7 HPFS/NTFS

Thanx in advance for ur help

Lambas,

Do u have Suse & WinXp on Same HardDisk,

Do u tried Grub Boot Configure from Suse Cpanel (Yast) ?

I think that would search all os installed on System & automatically configure Boot Loader.

as i am also a nOOb , I tried that once 3 months ago so i don't remember exactly. Please try it with (Yast) if not worked then i will install Suse again to solve ur problem.

Currently i am using WinXP + ElzBiz 4.0 .
a Windows Clone Linux (Rated on my scale 8 / 10 ) OS .

Kirtimaan

I have my hd split in 3 partitions, 2 ntfs and 1 ext2. When i add windows to the bootloader in the kernel tab i add this: root=/dev/hda1 but when i try to boot windows it sais:
root /dev/hda1
Error 11:
unrecognised device string

i know that something is wrong here. In suse 9.1 i did this without any problem but now :/
if someone has suse 9.2 he knows exactly what i am talking about... sigh.. damn grub
kirtimaan nop, it doesnt search all os, it just adds the suse 9.2 path
