Booting to Windows 7 from Ubuntu on my dual-boot machine
I have 2 OS on my machine: Ubuntu 10.4 and Windows 7.
I wish to boot directly to Windows 7, without having the boot menu and without the need to select Windows 7 from the boot menu. Which command can help me to do that? 10X |

If you want windows to directly start, boot using a windows install cd for the version currently installed, choose recovery console, select the correct install and use bootsect/.. to rewrite your mbr. |
In the grub configuration, make Windows the default, and then set a very short timeout.

you could also choose to hide the menu
