Booting Linux from network (hd-less PC)

Greetings!

If I want to boot a Linux machine without a hard disk trhough network, how would I do it? The reason is, if I could do it, I would be gladful to optimize financial resources for aquirying new machines for a HPC cluster I need. The hard(s) disk(s) would be only in the master PC, so the slaves could use it through remote mounting.

Do a search here on LQ for 'PXE' boot. Which is just one way of booting from a network.
