Booting Knoppix 3.9

I have searched for quite a while and can't find a solution to my inability to boot. I have burned the Knoppix ISO several times and can't get it to boot. I am running an Asus P4S800 MB with plenty of processor and memory. I have it set to boot from disk. I can boot from either of my drives with other disks , but not the Knoppix ISO cd. Where can I get the infamous floppy boot disk? It is my desire to leave my machine as is and run Knoppix from disk until I am comfotable with the basics of linux.
Your help is greatly appreciated, and forgive my noob status,
Eric

Hi, and welcome to LQ!

The most common mistake people make in this
respect is to burn the iso-file to CD rather than
using it as an image. When you stick the CD
into a working computer, what do you see as
its content?

Cheers,
Tink

Thaks for the welcome

As you would probably suspect , I see the ISO file in a form that XP can't read.

Right - so you, too, made the most common mistake.

:}

Which tool for burning CDs in windows are you using?
Anyway, have a look at

Burning

Tink,
I didn't have any burning software installed , but I do now. Had no problems whatsoever once I burned it as an image.
Thanks,
Eric
