Booting help
I have 2 Os on my system windows xp and redhat 9
I choose which one to boot with grub boot manager that come With the redhat 9 installation but somehow I messed it up and now Windows boots automatically and I have no access to redhat 9 How can I restore the grub boot manager without reinstalling redhat 9 :confused: Thx in advance for the help! ;) |
Did you make a boot/rescue floppy during your RedHat install?

I you made a boot/rescue floppy during install as irish_rover said, then you can use that to boot into Linux then reinstall Grub in the MBR.... If you didn't make a boot/rescue floppy, i think you can use your Red Hat CD for rescue mode...

here you can try to download the boot images here for your boot/rescue floppy if you didn't make one during install download the root disk not the boot disk:

but what to do next ? how can i restore grub so it will let me choose wich os to boot ? |
