Booting FreeBSD iso grub2

I am a little confused and Need some help. I wanted to try out FreeBSD but I want to boot it from an ISO. I put my iso file on my first hd 3rd partition in /boot/iso/FreeBSD-8.1-RELEASE-amd64-dvd1.iso. But I can't seem find anything to boot freebsd this way. Is it possible and if so how. This is what I kinda got but its not working.

Not sure how to get grub to do it with bsd. Grub4dos should do it. Also maybe other ways in last post.

Okay I guess I'll see if I can get it installed in vbox or something to play with.

Your issue is more of trying to run the iso but virtualbox or vmplayer is really the best way to run other os's.

Might be a virtual appliance already on vmware's site or bsd site may even have one to just boot up.
