Bootdisk with Shred or dd for Alpha
 

I have aquired a few DEC PWS machines from my employer. I'm going to be selling them on Ebay. I want to use shred or dd from a ramdisk that I boot up from floppies (of course). Right now, in grand newbieness, I have been installing Debian minimally and then running shred :D I would love to plug in a few floppies and speed up the process.

Also, considering that I already have the rescue boot disk via Debian image, can I just use it for an eventual root disk with my harddrive busting goodies?
