Bootable cd?

How do I make an iso a bootable cd, so I can install a new version before windows boots. I have a few cd rw's. Thank you, have a good day.

Use a CD-writing program such as Nero to copy and write the CD as an .iso or .nrg image.

Don't copy the individual files over as the resulting CD will not be bootable.
