Boot sequence

Hi,
While installing mandrake 10.1, I changed the boot sequence to : boot from cdrom as the first choice but after installation I am not able to access the bios to change it back to default ie, boot from hard disk as the first preference. what should be done?

why didn't you just change the boot order of the devices? why can't you get back in you bios the del or f1 keys dont work anymore or you forgot your bios password.

i've never heard of an os affecting bios that way since it loads before any os. try holding the del key right after the memtest before it goes to any other screen.
