Boot problems using Petra


Someone asked the type of drive I am using.

It is definitely an HDD>

Questions usually end with a question mark. Anyway, either see 'dmesg' output after you booted the machine or else see /var/log/messages or equivalent or else try hdparm -iI on the /dev/[h,s]d[a-z]* device? (See 'man hdparm'.)
