Boot problem

I downloaded Lycoris and tryed installing and it gave a error saying one or more packages could not be installed so it didnt even go past 0% anyway i rebooted and got windows to boot back in and redownloaded the iso jyst incase the first one was damaged then remade the partition with partition magic but noticed as it wanted to reboot it had set the main partition *windows* to hiden so i went on with the install and go the same error so restarted and went back to boot with the windows XP CD and noticed that the main partition was saying it was inactive and it was Os/2 now this should not be reading as this because i set the instal to setup on the allready formated linux partition and now i cant get windows to boot back in

any idea how to get this fixed ?
