I have 2 hdd. 1st I have installed win xp in hd1,0. Then linux6 in hd0,0. In the boot menu showing two option, 1st is red hat enterprise and 2nd is other. When select red hat it working. But when select other it showing nathing, win xp is not working. Pls help
What xp is not working mean? What do you see? Black screen, blue screen, error messages?
If you have xp on the second drive you will have to map the xp entry in grub.conf or menu.lst. You should start by posting the contents of the grub.conf or menu.lst file and the output of the command: fdisk -l (Lower case Letter L in the command) which needs to be run as root.
Also be advised
RHEL 6 is really not free
You MUST buy the required support contract
Then register the install with red hat ( there is no way around that ) https://www.redhat.com/apps/store/desktop/
