boot from a cd


Hello, I installed linux mint on my 2010 macbook pro a while ago and it isn't really what I wanted. So I decided to install Arch on it. I downloaded the .iso and burnt it to a CD and put it in my laptop and restarted, however I can't get it to boot. I get the white flash screen from the mac then I get the black grub boot loader option menu, where I can boot linux mint, linux mint recovery, or two memory tests. I tried to use grub customizer but I couldn't figure out how to make it boot from a CD.

Does anyone have any idea how to make grub boot from a CD?

Thanks for any help or advice you can throw my way.

I've never used a mac but, googling got the site below. You are not going to be booting grub you need to change the boot priority so that you get the CD drive rather than the hard drive with Grub. How did you install Mint? Try the options suggested at the link below:
