Boot Fedora without kernel id

Not a newbie but, looking for a Grub entry for Fedora that doesn't require kernel id. I had one and forget where I got it. I have Ubuntu, Fedora and Suse. Ubuntu holds Grub. I had a menu.lst entry for Fedora that pointed to Fedora's menu.lst to boot. It worked fine until I restored a ubuntu image and forgot to backup Ubuntu's menu.lst. Anyone use this method?

Opensuse uses this method, if you have Fedora on sda2 you would use:

title Fedora (/dev/sda2)
root (hd0,1)
configfile /boot/grub/menu.lst

Obviously, you would need a working menu.lst file in Fedora.

Thanks. I had finally figured it out and was going to post here; sure beats constantly changing kernel updated id's.
