Boot Error

I tried to run Ubuntu 11.04 off a flash drive on my laptop. All I get is Boot Error. I am currently running 10.04 without problems. That was installed with a flash drive. The same flash drive will boot on my desktop.
Any ideas, suggestions will be appreciated.

Hi there,

Did you perform a md5 check on the file you downloaded. I got a same error when I have downloaded a corrupt ISO image and was trying to boot my VM using that.

You can perform md5 check to ensure that the file you downloaded is proper using the following command:

md5sum -c file_name
