blurry font


all my fonts seem to be a bit blurry. has anybody expierenced this? I'm usning Mandrake 9.1 with KDE. All my fonts. Even in Opera and other proggs.

maybe try turning off anti-aliasing. should be in KControl Center > Fonts or KControl Center > Appearance > Fonts.

edit: if you don't know what the icon is for kcontrol center, the command is:

kcontrol

not really sure. are you using your windows ttf fonts?

no. The default fonts that come with the distro. Can I use TTF fonts? Are they installible through my control center? How would I do that? Are they better?

yeah. TTF fonts can be used. look in your control center or whatever mandrake use. this may help you too.
