block the users to change directory path in ftp


Hi Friends,

This is sudheer.i have installed ftp server.when log in to the server with the user i do want to have the permission to change the directory path to pub.how can i?

Change the permissions on pub

What is your distribution and ftp? Are you using proftpd or vsftpd or similar one?
Do you mean you do not want to let users reach in previous directories?
Do you want the users should be jailed in logged in directory?
