black and white console colors | all consoles
 

Well i dont quite know how to expose my problem.
On normal console display (control + alt + F1-F6) i have colors, normal ls colors and when i run console programs, for instance alsamixer it shows up the sound config in colors.
But under X when I try to run *any* console program that uses colors to distinguish their difrent activities, i can't get more than black & white (or black & red), but no more than 2 colors.
I have that feeling that might be a problem with x configuration, but where?

heh... that's strange.... i've got the exact opposite poroblem: I don't have any colors in my terminals (F1-6), but when I open up a terminal window in KDE, I get all colors....
