bittorrent site for linux
Is there a bittorrent site dedicated for linux applications?
|
there isn't a site fully dedicated to it, if you head on over to http://www.suprnova.org they have an entire section dedicated to Linux appliacations. Hope that helps you out.

Mandrake uses bit torrent to provide new releases to its club members
before it provides them by ftp to anyone. Of course, you have to pay to become a member of their club, what they provide by bit torrent is only the .iso's of new releases, not applications in general, and their bit torrent is generally slower than dialup, but what can you expect for n*US$60 per year? |
The Linux Mirror Project, TLMP for short, is a site run by two normal people who want to support the distribution of linux to the many thousands of people who download it every day. Our plan is to mirror all the major linux distributions, such as Fedora, Slackware, Debian, Mandrake, Knoppix, and many more, using the BitTorrent protocol to distribute bandwidth effectively among users.
