There are various BitTorrent clients you can use under Linux. Does openSUSE's package manager tell you which ones are available? What have you downloaded and tried to install?

Yes. Three methods: 1) use Yast software management as suggested by Nylex, 2) use zypper from the command line: zypper install bittorrent, 3) go to http://software.opensuse.org/search, look for bittorrent and click on the "1-click install" button then follow instructions.

Repositories...
BitTorrent should be available as a package to install if you have openSUSE OSS as a repository in your installation. http://en.opensuse.org/Package_Repositories There are of course more. http://en.opensuse.org/YaST_package_repository |
