Bitnami LAMP Stack Which folder to install Applications

HI ,
I have a Amazon Bitnami Lampstack . I would like to install Drupal on it . I am not which folder to download and install application.
Whats the right path .

I can see

/opt/bitnami/apps

/opt/bitnami/htdocs

I have installed in htdocs folders all works good but is it right or any security issues ?

Start with knowing what you're doing (reading documentation goes a long way), hardening your virtual machine properly, updating and auditing regularly and not logging in as or running stuff as root user and then ask again?
