BitchX on redhat 9.0


hi...ive dabled with linux a little...and have got bitchx to work afew times...but after putting redhat 9.0 on i cant get bitchx to work...
i got amsn installed....after installing the tcl/tk... and thought that is the same thing that i needed to run bitchx...

anyway after untaring it i put the tcl.o into the source folder and i run the configure script and i get
"configure: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH"

yea, so i aint got a c compiler then i guess....but i thought linux came with one....

anyway as u can tell i dont know what im doing...so any help would be great

linux only comes with a C compiler if you install it.
