Bios with no cd rom support need to boot & install from floppy disk or cd-rom

I am new to linux and I am trying to install suse linux professional 9.0. I am running an old 166 laptop and have formated the hard-drive with dos. I used the utility on the cd rom to create a boot disk. I also created module 1-4. When the boot disk comes up I get 4 options of install. When I pick install, it loads and then loads module 1. Then it goes to another screen and I press f2 to see whats going on. I noticed that it can't find any files of corse there is no cd-rom support.I hace read that module 4 has cd-rom support but I only get to module 1. The forth pick on the install allows me to put commands in as it boots. Maybe there is a command that can resolve this issue or if anyone has anything please help.

Thanks

Todd
