Here it is...

How do you install a program? I downloaded aMSN and it came as a .bin file. What do I do with this?

Read this for you to understand how to install programs under Linux and this to understand how to install AMSN. Always check the FAQ/README/Documentation of the application you are willing to install. The answer is always there ;)
