big noob question
 
ok i run ubuntu and mozilla stopped working, so i would like to run mozilla through the terminal to see whats wrong. how do i run/start mozilla through the shell/terminal.

Open a terminal and type "whereis mozilla" and when it gives you the path, such as /usr/bin/mozilla type that in the term. And don't forget, Google is your friend and has the answers.

It could vary depending on exactly how it's installed, but I would guess it should work if you just try typing "mozilla". I notice in your profile you use ubuntu, which at least in Hoary uses firefox not mozilla. If you're actually trying to start firefox then type "firefox" instead.

A easy way to find the command that I've found is to right click the icon in a panel and open the properties window. This shows the command.
