Best way to achieve mailstore redundancy in Linux

What is the best way to achieve mailstore redundancy in linux?
Right now we are looking at drbd replicating a whole directory where all mail will ultimately be stored and running lvs/ha to cluster the machines
We are looking at 2 machines (for now) and the storage will be local to each machine. Total email accounts is ~1000 with total space required ~50-100 gb.
Any time-tested solutions?
We will be setting this up VERY shortly

Sick of bot posting problems from a different forum verbatim on LQ
in irrelevant boards. Banning the thing and closing the threads.
