Best FTP Server?
 

Hey,

I want to be able to setup my slackware server with FTP but I don't know which one is the best. What do you think? (links to information would be appreciated)

http://www.proftpd.org/
proftpd is probably the easiest to get up and running, especially if you know apache.

http://vsftpd.beasts.org/
vsftpd has more emphasis on security. If you intend to have your ftp server open to the internet at large, you may do well to keep security in mind.

There is a FTP server in slackware CD
/slackware/n/vsftpd
I think it's good.
