thanks a lot.

my concern about puppy is if it will work with my usb wifi stick? D-link DWA 140

you will not loose anything if you give it a try? if it doesn't work then try tinyme.

I have an old IBM Thinkpad with 10gb hd, 96mb of ram and I did a netinst of Debian with Fluxbox on it. It runs pretty decent for the specs. I just installed only apps I needed the most.

I still have the machine but haven't used it for a few years. I may drag it out and fire it up to see what will happen.

YES IT's working with pupy PERFECT. Pupy is nice and easy to use!!!! THANKS A LOT FOR THE HELP AND PATION

ok it's working i can detect all wireless networks and the usb stick blicks but stops after asking to put the WPA key.
one the wpa key is in he says failed to associate "xxxx" with ESSID what is what? can you help me?

i managed it and solved the problem. im still not use to this.. thanks a lot guys i will continue posting my questions
