best distro for Compaq 2100 laptop
 

Hey fellas,
Im the owner of a power packed(?) Presario2100 with an AMD 2800+, 1024ram and an ATI radeon graphic card with a HP WLAN 54g wireless card. I wanted to install FC3 but ran into trouble with the Graphic card and the WLAN card. I tried using the ndis wrapper and then the drivers but i just can make it through!
Anyone using any other distro's which are compatable with this laptop. Im a real newbie and I just want to get on the linux band wagon.

I checked ubuntu hardware compatibility list, you laptop will probably work
I have a compaq presario X1000 notebook and have found kubuntu to work acceptably,

will try it out
