How do i configure a Dial-up modem in Berry Linux 0.82. I can find all the stuff for wireless and proxy settings etc. where is the dial-up settings . I am not that familiar with Linux and would like to find the easiest way to do this.
I also tried to use the modem drivers and setup from the cd using wine with no success. (am I doing it right).
The built in help file was mostly empty and has no info under internet help.

((Puppy linux has dialup modem settings but, it kept trying to dial out and would not connect . said something about soft modems may have problems and hard modems are better?))

You have not given the maker and model of your modem. The message about hard/soft modems has to do with whether the chipset is HCF/HSF.

You may need to find the correct "driver" for your modem.
