Cool been told I can load Serif programmes on linux as well as windows xp

I am unsure about loading the Serif programmes PagePlus 10 and PhotoPlus10. onto linux. They are windows discs? I have been told that it is ok but being new to linux and being a geriatic teenager!! its all new to me. I realise I have a lot to learn, after using windows which I am used to, this is different, but even at 78 years old I still like a challenge, and want to learn more. http://linuxquestions.cachefly.net/i...ies/newbie.gif

Them being Windows applications there is no chance you will be able to run them in native GNU/Linux mode. Maybe there is a chance you can run them through WINE. If that fails there definately are mature DTP and image editor applications for GNU/Linux but you'd have to find one that suits your requirements and taste and have to learn working with it.

Thought it would be questionable as the serif programmes are for windows, at least it answers my query. Denise1929
