bbedit : Command not found
I am tryng to open my httpd.conf file in the Terminal with my bbedit (which opens fine on its own). I am entering:
bbedit /etc/httpd/httpd.conf then i get: bbedit: Command not found I have to open the file with pico but that is a pain. Anyone know whay I get this? This also happens when I do cd /private/etc 1s 1s: command not found Thanks for your help. Jason |
OK I just installed bbedit 7.0.3 and it seems to be working now.
I was using 6x lite before. Still having the 1s command problem though |
Do you have to be root for it to work? Have you tried it as root?
su - enter root password. Also, are you trying to issue ls (ell ess) or 1s (one ess)? Try LS but in lower case "ls". Hope this helps.:D |
hmm. interesting. Su - gives me
su: Sorry after I enter password. I am using OS X but su obviosly works fine on my RH box. Anyone know the OS X CLI for root? |
OMG I am so amazingly embarrased.
I was entering ONE S not LS (ls) /walks away with head in sand from same. Thanks for the input anyway Texicle |

Don't worry about it. Sometimes the print on the screen gets too similar. I didn't notice it at first either. If you notice I went back and edited my post--that's when I added the part about the LS vx. 1S thing. :D |

Can someone please inform me where I can find the tar drivers or perhaps rpm drivers for Linux (Suse) for the HP F380 (300 series) printer and scanner?
Are there any good drivers for a simple Philips Webcam, is it the gspcav kernel module perhaps? I use Suse 10.1 KDE 3.5.7 Tks n rgds :) |
