Basic Query about output.


Hi guys whenever i write a command like this.


echo "\n\tEnter Your Choice"

It produces a output like following.

output
\n\tEnter Your Choice
it is not recognizing \n\t characters ?How do i establish this.

Use -e

Hi

echo -e "\n\t Enter Your Choice"
the -e will tell echo to understand \n and \t
