Hi,

I am after BASH software for windows. I have used cygwin but was wondering if there is any alternative software that people prefer/use.

Thanks,

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.

Google up a copy of bash-203.zip, GNU Bash for Windows.
You might also be interested in winxs, a set of Linux utilities ported to Windows (shareware).

To all Members:

If you see a warning to a user that they've double posted, please do not reply to that thread, its only been reported to be closed at that point.
