Bash Command for graphic card (Ubuntu)


What bash command do I use in the terminal to see what graphic card I have on my computer?

"lspci" will list all of your available pci devices, including your video card. It probably won't tell you the exact make and model number, but it will tell you what kind of card+chipset it appears as to your system.

I just want to add that 'lspci' won't work as limited user- you have to be root to execute it. It's so at slackware, at least.
