Bad superblock...

Hi again! I've this problem with samba, I want to mount the windows share //SUN/User_data in /mnt/SUN using:

sudo mount -t smbfs //SUN/User_data /mnt/SUN

but I get this message:

mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on //SUN/User_data,
or too many mounted file systems

Can anyone tell me why I get this? Maybe mount doesn't know the smbfs filesystem? My samba works okay I guess, because

smbclient //SUN/User_data

does work.
I hope someone can help.

Lex

smbfs is the filesytem suport in the kernel it has nothing to to with samba server or config

try this
modprobe smbfs

and then again try

smbmount <share> <path to be mounted>

This doesn't do the trick. I still get the same error message. I also cannot use smbmount, it's not recognized, it's probably not in the $PATH variable.
