Start at the Ubuntu site. You should find answers there for the general questions you have. I think they stopped mailing free cd's though. You can download for free and burn your own or even find an online seller that can send the discs at a low cost.

What does your title mean? (What is "BAD")

As already stated, you can get Ubuntu using a free download---or there are many places you can buy a CD.

You can also get a disk by buying a Linux magazine.

After you have Linux installed, then we can deal with how to connect to the internet. (You may find the answer as part of the installation)

It's the text used to show you a bad title when posting a new thread. OP, please use descriptive titles in future. Properly reading instructions wouldn't go amiss, either.

No. The instructions about descriptive thread titles (and examples of good and bad titles) have been there for quite a while.
